As is, I find clearance cube to be more hassle than it is worth in most situations that I encounter, but with some improvements it could be a valuable tool.  I definitely prefer to use clearance planes, avoidance moves, move points, etc. over clearance cube.  I understand it was created as a way to automate the programming process but it may be able to improve the manual programming process.

I've outlined some areas where I think this could be improved:

1. Make clearance cube smart enough to be able to adjust the status for each feature if a clearance plane is not needed.  It is very time consuming to have to go in and click through all the menu items to adjust the active, start, and end status definition for each feature to get an efficient program.  This adds quite a bit of time to the process, especially if there are a lot of features to adjust.
2. Make it easier and quicker to adjust settings on the fly.  Maybe a dock-able window that shows all the clearance cube settings for any specific feature that you can have visible at all times. 
3. Add clearance cube settings to the auto feature dialogue.
4. Make clearance cube settings editable within features in the edit window.

Add python scripting with full Automation including reading CAD information tree.

Construct Line should allow the intersection of a cylinder with a plane which is parallel to the axis. To get both possible lines we can use the plane vector.

Hexagon should have a library of example programs for all of there programming products.

This would give programmers some examples of the recommended programming methods from Hexagon.

My work would be much more efficient if I could resize the "Distance" dialog box, specifically the feature ID's list. Currently I can only see 5 feature ID's at a time. When I don't know the names of all the features, or I can't find it in the cad model display, being able to see a larger portion of the list here would be great because I know approximately where or with what other features it is. Most of the time I'm working on parts with hundreds of features.

I would like to have the control to have the same functions of the jog box on my computer screen so that if I get a crash and I'm nowhere near the CMM I can remote onto the computer move the probe away from the crash, edit my program and continue it. This would also be great for those of us that have large CMM's so that we don't need to go to the opposite end of the machine to grab the jog box just to move a probe a few thousandths away from the part.

Clearance zone that follows the contour of CAD model. Ability to block an axis to infinity to prevent probe crashes. 

Add a Warning dialog window when this toggle is ON or some type of control to allow the user to be able to know the Auto Feature will be executed.

I would like to use MSE with Vision features.  This would significantly decrease the time to create measurement routines.  

The current PDF Output report when is zoomed to 1000% or more, the profile lines get hazy or blurred. 

Where as the competitor PDF report output shows the same profile lines neatly. 

One of our customers is a supplier for Rolls Royce (RR) product. RR is using other CMM/software but manage to produce good profile image in PDF although zoom into 6400%. Whereas the same PDF output exported from PC-DMIS is not upto the mark. 

The customer is planning to buy an additional Gantry machine from us but one of the topic during the techincal discussion is that with the report output.
