Pallet Run with Inspect

F. Ziegler 6 years ago in Metrology Software / Inspect updated by neil kay 5 years ago 5

It would be great, if we have the possibility to do the “pallet Run” with Inspect – like Operator Interface.

Just enter the number of the parts and their offset and let’s go.

If a part does not exist, just uncheck it.

Recall Bend Data from Bend Controller to Tubeshaper

trung van 7 years ago in Metrology Software / TubeShaper updated by neil kay 5 years ago 0

Add the ability to have the Bend Controller send "corrected data" to Tubeshaper and updating the CLRA fields only.  Currently as it is, sending corrected data to Tubeshaper replaces the nominal "LRA", which we want to inspect to.

CAD things develop

Gábor Tóth 7 years ago in Metrology Software / PC-DMIS updated 4 years ago 25

It would be great if I click on CAD part model than is marked(highlighted) in CAD assembly tree too and reverse: If I click on one item in CAD assembly that will be show in CAD window by other color.

Additionaly the marked CAD item can be hide by "I" ( invisible) button, visible again by "V" and "E" exlusive visible only just this item... ( It work an another software and would be great if here will be works similar :-) )

If you like this suggestion press "vote". Thanks!

warn if routine is open in another location

damonh 7 years ago in Metrology Software / PC-DMIS updated by neil kay 5 years ago 0

similar to opening a word doc or protected pdf  or cad file, where an instance of that file is already open at another pc or workstation, and a warning pops up that it can only be viewed not edited since it is open somewhere else.  This would come in handy when, programmer needs to make edits, but in another facility the routine is open and running at a cmm. Rather than messaging folks or emailing and waiting for a response and someone to physically go verify it is not open anywhere, to just have a warning message pop up instead.

simple option that FREEZES nominals

kevocmm 7 years ago in Metrology Software / PC-DMIS updated by neil kay 5 years ago 0

one of the most frequent complaints is about changing nominals. There have been many different things listed to reduce that having to do with F5 settings and how Alignments are created etc, amounting to many things to seek and tie them down so they dont change. Perhaps pcdmis authors consider this a 'feature' but most users consider it the bain of their existence. It makes them HATE using pcdmis. Why not have 1 simple parameter the user can set that permanently locks the nominals of features and moves etc so that they can not change?

Seperate Tolerance for each Straight or Point

Holger 7 years ago in Metrology Software / TubeShaper updated by NSF_TUN 4 years ago 3

Tolerances should be able to be entered separately for each intersection and for each Straight.    The overall tolerance does not always meet the specification,

especially for pipes with holders and connections.

Tube from Zylinders by Clicking the Cylinder in the View.

Holger 7 years ago in Metrology Software / TubeShaper updated by neil kay 5 years ago 1

The design of pipes over CAD or measured cylinders should be possible by clicking on the  cylinders and entering the bending radius.

Currently, this is only possible through the tedious calculation of the intersection points and the rebuilding of a pipe.

Zero Point Alignment / Offset of the Zero Point

Holger 7 years ago in Metrology Software / TubeShaper updated by neil kay 5 years ago 2

When we do the Alignement with Plane Line Point,

the Point should be Zero in XYZ.
