LRA corrections

rtomsu 7 years ago in Metrology Software / TubeShaper updated by Lasse Viinikainen 3 years ago 6

We would like to have a possibility to see corrections of measured LRA in report. That means opposite values of deviations. For example when your nominal value of a bend is 90 and you measured that the reality is 91.5, the deviation is 1.5. But we would like to see the value of -1.5. We dont use automatic corrections for benders because our benders are not capable of this. We need to write corrections manually  so we need values in this form.

Enhanced Keyed in dimension

Bill Kulpa 7 years ago in Metrology Software / PC-DMIS updated by neil kay 5 years ago 1

Enhance the Keyed in dimension by adding an input box for use of a variable entry and the option not to pop up during execution.

This would allow us to assign a variable as the measured value with out asking what the measured value is and eliminate the need to construct a generic feature.

PLATING CALCULATION

christopher d'andrea 7 years ago in Metrology Software / PC-DMIS updated by Aaron Baldauf 4 years ago 3

A way to calculate for allowing plating into your measurements I think would be a good idea. A way to enter plating variables and with the nominals from the imported CAD and selected Datums from the program an adjustment could be made to the tolerances, instead of manually adjusting your reported tolerances. A feature for PC-DMIS that takes each measured features vector and can move opposing vectors tolerance tighter and vectors in the same direction leave the same tolerance.

Split editor window to see 2 different parts of program

gary wilson 7 years ago in Metrology Software / PC-DMIS updated by neil kay 5 years ago 2

When copying/pasting parts of the program I have to keep scrolling up/down, would be useful to split the editor in 2 and show 2 different parts of the program as the same time (similar functionally is in MS Word by dragging the handle at the top of the scroll bar).

Conrtruct a cone from circles.

Gene 7 years ago in Metrology Software / PC-DMIS updated by neil kay 5 years ago 1

Make PC DMIS able to construct a cone from two or more circles.

Currently you can force it to do this by extracting points from your circles and constructing the Cone, but this is very time intensive and also does not allow for true point vectoring.

Dimension report unit exchange between mm and inches

Sonny Setyawidjaya 7 years ago in Metrology Software / PC-DMIS updated by neil kay 5 years ago 1

Need the simple exchange button for the dimension report units between mm and inches. We have over 200 dimension and it should be simple for developer to add this function on standard PC-DMIS.
