The ability to add avoidance moves before and after individual points within and auto feature. Say I have an interrupted OD and I want the probe to retract between hits 3 & 4 to a distance that will clear the interruption, then resume the circle measurement. I have many parts with 3-4 interruptions on the OD. This would also help when I scanning. Now I have to create 4 - 8 linear open scans (depending on whether I'm measuring a circle or cylinder with move point in between, then construct a circle. If it's a cylinder I have to filter the scans 1st then construct my cylinder.

Very often switching between CAD & Vision tab.  Would be nice to be able to separate these and view both.

As PC-DMIS has hundreds of functionality in it, this just stuck in my mind that it would be of great help for the operator or the user to have the search functionality button to access the particular functionality quickly. Although we have a quick feature toolbar but contains only a few of them. It would be of great help for the PC-DMIS user to find the functionality quickly if he remembers the functionality.

For example, if I know about the fly mode and want to use it but did not remember the exact location of it, I have to search it in the menu bar or in the setup options or somewhere else but if we would have search functionality button we can search "Fly mode" and it should open the fly mode setup options. I don't know if it is possible or not but having this functionality makes the PC-DMIS more user-friendly for sure

It would be usefully to have a possibility to open a routine automaticaly in offline mode while user is pressing the Ctrl key and is selecting the file in open dialog or/and in menue File->Historie.

Similar function to min_circ and max_inscr of a circle.

Potentially using Std.Dev. and allowing to use points only in +% or -% of Std.Dev.

Ex.  I'm using backlight only on gasket material.  It would be useful if
I could Snap the line to the points that are either a minimum or
maximum (depending on material side) To avoid calculations with debris.  In this example lets assume a minimum edge is what I'm looking for.  I select to eliminate 75% of points on the positive side of material (75% of the standard deviation).  I'm then left with 25% of the points to construct a line out of, of which are ignoring 75% of the imperfections seen on the surface.

Make Xact measure report easy to re-arrange so it looks like the Legacy Report.  You can shutoff and turn on whatever you want to go to the printer or stats (in whatever order you want) .  In machining all the machinist cares about is which way they need to move the machine.  All they want to see for Position for example is X, Y, Diameter Size and Position.  They do not want to see datum shift, the position of the datum's you used, the size of the datum used.  The Report is to long and confusing and out of order.

Make possible to set which axis will be displayed in report by default. At this time when I use Xact Measure GD&T almost all axis are selected but I dont want them in report so I need to unselect them all except for those which must be displayed. I need to do that at every single GD&T result but when you change just one alignment all axis will select again and I need to do all the work again and again. It is really annoying. 

In the older versions of PC-DMIS; prior to clearance cube, when using clearance plane you could simply type "move/clearplane" within a non auto feature and if would clear the plane and stay there until it was time to take the next hit. Clearance cube is a superior tool in most regards but I have to add move/points when ever I want to deviate from the path. I would like to have the same kind of thing with the cube; It would be very helpful to have the ability to clear the cube when ever I see fit. Even within auto features and scans. Please ask if you would like me to better clarify.

it helps when the same program run on different machine that i can know which machine they run on my report and able to make some adjustment per machine type.

Would be great to have to option to have a check box that if checked whatever settings you type in under the actual’s tab would also populate the data fields in the nominal s tab. Also to go a step further if the programmer had the ability to click “select” an already created featurs that the generic feature utility would be able to recognize and extract X,Y,Z, and I,J,K’s dia ect… and or drop down list of previously created features.
