Hey Matt, thanks for your reply. Sorry, "bullet" was a translation error. What i mean is i want to automatically scan a sphere/ball geometry. This function is available for circles, but not for spherical geometries. I already talked with the hotline about this and they told me so far PC-DMIS does not have this possibility.
Thanks for clarifying! As you mention the current method for scanning spherical geometry would be a number of linear/circle scans and then a constructed sphere.
Adding a scanning strategy for spheres makes good sense. I edited the title a bit to help other uses find this topic.

Could you provide some additional detail on this idea? I'm not sure what geometry of a bullet is not scan-able, or dimension-able.
