Universal Updater offers me Pre-Release versions of PC-DMIS 2019 R1. I do not want them! Make an option in Universal Updater to enable or disable pre-release notifications for updates. I only want to install final releases

Hi Mitja,
By default you should only receive official releases and service packs, unless you've been provided an access key to get pre-release versions.
There was an issue with the Updater that shipped with PC-DMIS 2019 R1 - build 1.0.210 - where you would have seen pre-release - but this was patched straight after release with Updater updating itself to version 1.0.211.
Can you confirm what version of Updater you have, and what pre-release build you are being offered?
Thanks
I have a 1.0.210.20190201 version of Universal Updater. The updater offered me a 14.1.294.0 and 14.1.302.0 version. I had already install them, because I did not see that was pre-released version. Can I uninstall them?
I can not find how to update Universal Updater...
Yes, if you click the down arrow next to PC-DMIS 2019 R1, select "Other Versions", you should be able to install the release build (build #288).
When Updater has an update, the whole updater window usually fills with a progress wheel as it downloads and installs - in order words - it should not be optional or require manual intervention. I'm not sure why your system is not getting it, we've not seen that in our tests.
In order that we can diagnose this, can you please email me (Neil.Kay@hexagon.com) the log file found here C:\ProgramData\Hexagon\Universal Updater\UniversalUpdater.log
Thanks
You can manually download and install Universal Updater 211 build from here (ftp://ftp.wilcoxassoc.com/UniversalUpdater/1.0/release/x64/), which will stop offering you the pre-release builds.
A new Updater build will be released soon with Fast and Slow update frequency settings (default Slow). This is akin to Microsoft Windows Insider program. By default, no user should receive pre-release builds.
