Include XYZ and LRA error results in the report.

George Koskinas 8 years ago in Metrology Software / TubeShaper updated by neil kay 5 years ago 3

As many benders have the ability to display separately the XYZ & LRA errors / corrections and the operator can opt to directly edit & apply these values after a performed inspection, it is desired to include them in the report (Supravision Network protocol fields: $exyz & $elra).

Hi George-

When you say “include XYZ and LRA error results in the report”, you don’t mean our report, but rather the SuperVision file, correct?

We have filed a story for this: TUBE-8933 “Write out eXYZ and eLRA in $$$ file.

Thank you for your feedback

Hi Glenn,

I meant to say that we'd like them included in all report-output (PDF, CSV, $$$).

Some folks, want them in the .$$$-file for direct usage in bender...

Some folks, want them in the reports (especially when they cannot directly connect to the bender)...

This one should be rather easy to implement...

Cheers

Hi George-
Based on our call, I think everything is clear now. To avoid confusion, for us, the "report" is the pdf/csv reporting, which is unrelated to the $$$ SV file.
1.) We need to add the eXYZ and eLRA values into the $$$ file. We have a story TUBE-8933 for this.
2.) The eXYZ and eLRA values are already indeed in the Report (pdf/csv/etc) as the XYZ and LRA deviations.
3.) You have a separate request to only output the 'report options' options to the CSV, and we'll discuss that in the other thread: http://hexagonmi.userecho.com/topics/165-report-options-should-be-applied-to-exported-text-csv-file-too/
Thank you for your feedback,
