From a product competitiveness and ease of use points of view the more we can do on the graphics side (CAD and or Vision View screens) the better. Dimension dialogs are quite dated and offer a lot of options but require a thought process that sometimes is not obvious to the user. 2D versus 3D dimensions is one such item. We have made improvements to the ANGLE BETWEEN command by adding a visualization graph but if we applied the visualization to the CAD (displayed CAD and or Measured features) image it would even be better. Especially for operators doing quick dimension checks. I have attached a PDF document to help describe what I am suggesting. It is not a new suggestion or idea. It is in some ways similar to requests from other users.
