MACHINE 3D MODEL DETAILS

Would like to see and use the threaded holes of the tables, for fixture position and at the same time then we can see where machine can reach.

In my opinion the models from Hexagon are not good. At least the Leitz aren't.

Here is the table I modelled myself:

Here you see the side view of a Leitz PMM-C 24.16.7 and my model hoovering above it.

You can see that the X length of the tables differ quite alot.

In the Hexagon model of Leitz PMM-G 60.30.16 the position of the measuring volume is way off.

I made transparent boxes so I can see the measuring volume, and also the machine volume.

If you make .CAD files from them, you can drag them into PCDMIS and turn on/off any model that is imported.

All my tooling, spheres et cetera are stored in .CAD files.

And these model can be clicked during programming, so you can always can get values instead of only visual.

And works with collision detection as well.

I hope this helps.
