create balloon drawing with OCR

It would be nice that PC-DMIS users can create balloon drawings with the OCR technology in PC-DMIS. PC-DMIS already recognizes the dimensions displayed on the 2D-drawing. It would be a nice add-on that PC-DMIS also inserts a balloon number next to that dimension, so that users don't need to create balloon drawings in 3rd party software.

Frankly speaking 1factory and High QA does the best here and automatically create PPAP, APQP documents with revision management.  My bets bet would be to use that for AS9102 and other requirements.

I would avoid that users need to go to 3rd party software. It would be nice that it's already in PC-DMIS

Here it is, Ballooning the 2D drawing comes under planning process of inspection and it's more of inspection overhead or a independent activity that concerns CMM most or any other measuring equipment. As I was using the other 3rd party software's at least 2 of the most used in industry now, I could imagine scenarios like auto ballooning, adjusting the ballooning, section mapping the ballooning, revision management, sequence of ballooned data, creation of AS9102 form, etc., involved altogether makes this as a separate activity apart from what is required of pc-dmis. frankly speaking, my point is, pc-dmis should focus on mainly efficiency related to creating inspection routines, managing them and accuracy issues from that. I don't want them to venture in inspection planning area without understanding the full scope and work behind this which was asked by AS9100 and other standards. I have used pc-dmis formats in those software's which eventually worked great with automatic mapping to ballooned information and worked like a charm which itself is a separate area or domain which is not pc-dmis area is my opinion. (or) Hexagon can develop a software for ballooning which I think is waste of time for them as many exists already in market and most of them support cmm import seamlessly.
