What is wrong with this 2020 version?
1. Why can't I access the most recent programs?
2. Why can't I edit nominals in the geometric tolerance tab?
I've been using this software for the past 7 years and this is one of the worst versions of the software. When you did this update, why couldn't you keep everything you had before and just add new things instead of playing with all of the old things?
RS6 scanner for all devices

FIX XACT MEASURE (DATUM SHIFT ERROR)
XACT MEASURE SHOULD UTILIZE THE PCDMIS SIZE FUNCTION WHEN EVALUATING FOR DATUM SHIFT INSTEAD OF WHAT APPEARS TO BE L^2.
WHEN MEASURING A CASTING THAT HAD AN AS CAST DATUM ID DIAMETER THAT WAS 4.4300 +/- .020, THE ACUTAL MEASURED FEATURE WAS OUT OF ROUND AND MEASURED +.0218 AND -.0235 ON SIZE, BUT WHEN USING THE XACT MEASURE IT CALCULATED AN L^2 (LEAST SQUARES) AT 4.4286 ALLOWING FOR .0186 DATUM SHIFT. WHEN THE DATUM MATING EVELOPE IS LESS THAN THE LOWEST POSSIBLE SIZE YOU DO NOT GET DATUM SHIFT. THIS ERROR NEEDS TO BE FIXED IN ORDER TO FOLLOW ASME Y14.5.
Rotatable spacer for TP20 star probes
I've never been a fan of star probes. Not to say that I haven't used them. It's more that I haven't figured out the trick to consistently and easily orient the 'star' on a TP 20 setup. Worked with a Zeiss with a Vast head for a few years. That was somewhat manageable. Seems to me that you would need some kind of hardware solution for this. Some kind of rotatable element to go in between the TP20 and your probe head. Wouldn't have to rotate 360 degrees. 90 degrees of rotation would probably be enough.
We have a 7.10.7. It would be nice if you could change the angle of the head. If it gets turned off facing left it will crash at initial start-up while homing.
Add: Toggle to "Find" function - Constructed Features "Off"
When using the search function, a toggle box would be present to ignore searching for text in constructed features.
T option
how to use the T option?
Is there a setting in PC-DMIS that would make only the labels that are in the line of sight visible?
Is there a setting in PC-DMIS that would make only the labels that are in the line of sight visible?
For Example:
If I checked one point on each of the six sides of a cube, then put my screen in ISO view, I would only see the three labels for the points that were on the 3 sides of the cube that were visible to me on the screen. If I rotated the cube around, then the other labels would appear as their respective surfaces appeared and the labels that I originally saw would disappear when their respective surfaces went out of view.
Another way to say this might be that the labels would not show through the model. They would only be visible if they were on the operator side of the model.
"WIDTH" SHOULD BE USEFUL! ALLOW IT TO BE USED FOR POSITION, OR A DATUM!
