Move Feature Dialogue

David Courtney hace 8 años en Metrology Software / PC-DMIS actualizado por neil kay hace 5 años 1

I would like a edit command/dialogue to move feature(s) XYZ values. Please create a dialogue with the option to select features from list or graphics window, input values to shift X, Y, Z, and rotation about an axis or feature. I want something that will allow me to move any feature nominal a given distance or rotate it a given angle. Take for example the paste with pattern function but it would function as an editing tool instead.

Angular distance command

Jon Wood (NinjaBadger) hace 8 años en Metrology Software / PC-DMIS actualizado por neil kay hace 5 años 0

Get the angle between two features.

Bit like the distance command.

- Select two features and it gives the angle between them (in the current workplane) with the origin as the centre point.

-Select three features and it gives the angle between the first two using the third as the centre point.

I see a lot of chains of angular dimensions,I spend a lot of time constructing lines from the centre to the bolt holes and evaluating the angle between the lines, makes the graphics cluttered as well.

Report distance in multiple axis at a time

Kingsld1 hace 8 años en Metrology Software / PC-DMIS actualizado por neil kay hace 5 años 5

It would be nice to be able to report both X distance and Y distance in one pass thru the distance dialog. The current method of only being able to report one axis at a time is a waste of time in both programming and reading a report not to mention a waste of ink and paper.

Use biggest deviation for Position calculation

Aaron Baldauf hace 8 años en Metrology Software / PC-DMIS actualizado por neil kay hace 5 años 3

If I evaluate the position of a plane in XactMeasure, it should evaluate it from the worst point of the plane and not the center of the plane.

At the moment I always have to search for min/max point relative to the datum and evaluate the bigger deviation of the two.

Give us the ability to easily edit Measured Points. This should be as easy as editing vector points.

Create a tool to look through several programs in a folder and produce a list of all probe configurations used in any of the programs.

Ability to create DML file

Jay Flint hace 8 años en Metrology Software / PC-DMIS actualizado por neil kay hace 5 años 0

We would like the ability to create DML files to facilitate bringing the measurement data into a CAD system for analysis.

Add a Datum Target Button. The button would allow the user to create a Datum Target at an input XYZIJK. Add selections for the feature: Length-width or Diameter,Highest point, Lowest point or Least squares option. XYZ translates to HP LP LS option

Make it possible to disable the MSE altogether

Jörgen Andersson (vpt se) hace 8 años en Metrology Software / PC-DMIS actualizado por Matt hace 5 años 1

Annoying feature that should have been made an option where the user could choose to decide if the settings should be decided according to the MSE or the "old" way - saving the recent autofeature settings on exit and read back in again when starting PC-DMIS.
